Dance, light and live music come together to create an extraordinary, raw, human performance. Six male dancers ignite the stage, bringing movement, energy and life to explore Te Kore – the state of unlimited potential for being.
The fascinating blend of live electric guitar by former Straightjacket Fits Front-Man Shayne Carter and traditional Maori instruments by master player James Webster, creates a dramatic mix of soundscapes and movement. Reverberations of ancient karakia and takutaku chant, evoke the presence of atua Maori.
This highly acclaimed, multi-sensory performance, by visionary choreographer Moss Patterson, enthralled audiences when it premiered in China and Taiwan and promises to do the same for audiences across Aotearoa.
Take up this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the collaborative creativity of some of New Zealand’s most innovative and passionate dance and music artists.
